Sometimes basics are the best. Eggs, scrambled or fried, a slice of salty country ham, a smear of blackberry jelly, and the best grits you have ever tasted! Though I realize that not being a lover of grits is almost blasphemous, I have never been a fan. Only with a sinful amount of butter, cheese, or adorned with shrimp, did I find grits palatable. That was before I tasted Carolina Grits. Ground in small batches, Carolina Grits taste like corn. Yes, they have a taste! Nothing like those bland grains found in the supermarket.
